The rough seas of the Sea of Japan hit the cliffs over 20 meters in height, and it is full of power.
The surrounding area is a sightseeing spot, and you can also enjoy shopping for Fukui’s famous seafood bowl and fresh seafood. If you’re tired of walking, take a break at a café on the quay.

Oshima Island
50 minutes by car from Hakujukan(7 minutes by car from Tojinbo)
A small island of about 2km connected by a red bridge of about 200m. You can enjoy a 20-minute walk along the quay from Tojinbo. Near Oshima, there is a seaside nature park where you can play on the large lawn and a restaurant where you can enjoy the scenery.

It is a complex facility consisting of a papyrus pavilion where you can experience making paper, a craft hall where you can see the skills of a traditional craftsman in a restored house, and a museum. There is also a Japanese paper gallery renovated from the Taisho period storehouse and a cafe.
